Surprise Farewell Party

I can post this now, since the party was a week ago. Here's the original email/FB message I sent out.

I wish I could claim this "punny" note was my idea. It's not. All the credit goes to Myla. It's her brilliant creativity!

We are throwing a Surprise Farewell Party for Mallorie....er, Sam. (She prefers to go by Sam now. New beginnings and all that!)

We’d like your “Company” to celebrate Sam's own “Spring Awakening” as she prepares to leave “Our Town” and move to New Jersey. At least she won’t have to pay “Rent” as she explores career options, since she will be staying with her Dad and Stepmom.

I will miss her something “Wicked.” We may have led “Sordid Lives” but it is “Never Too Late” to show her how much she will be missed.

“Anything Goes” at our upcoming party to celebrate Sam. If you haven’t guessed, there will be a theatre aspect, and if you are interested in participating in an active role, just contact “The Producers” (me) and let me know. Perhaps you've a funny story to share, or maybe you want to sing a song. Please let me know! We want to fill Theatre Alliance with “The Sound of Music,” laughter, and love for this “Funny Girl.”

Come let your “Hair” down, have some “Nunsense” with your friends, and help make this an “Enchanted April” for Sam. “Mamma Mia,” I’ma gonna missa that girl!

So, don’t be “The American Idiot” – be sure to be there. I promise there will be fun! I promise there will be cake! I promise it will mean everything to Sam. And that’s a lot of “Promises, Promises”!
