Do Crew: Kettle Counting

January 12, 2018

Dear Volunteer,

I just wanted to take the time to thank you for all you did this Christmas season. The Salvation Army could have not assisted as many families - 2,295, children -- 5,425 and seniors -- 835, that we did this year without your help. Volunteers empower our organizations so that we may have the ability to serve our community; without your generosity of time and money this is not possible.

Whether you volunteered as a bell ringer, angel tree assistant, toy warehouse sorter or counted kettle money, your time means a family in our community was able to receive the assistance they needed this season.

One thing I can let you know is that The Salvation Army does have the best volunteers. When we put out the call for help, you are there! I cannot express my gratitude enough for what you did this Christmas season but I can tell you that it is with great pride that you have made a difference in someone’s life.

I pray that you are blessed many times over this year; I do hope that you will return once again and let others know what you did this season bringing more volunteers just like you to assist us once again.

Thank you and many blessings
